When I first joined Crown Greetings (a Hallmark company) I was asked to look into adding value to Hallmark's eCard offering through games and interactive design. By a happy coincidence Macromedia had just released Flash 5 which intoduced keyboard interaction and a much stronger version of Actionscript.

Overview
After playing a few versions of this style of game online I thought it's concept would be perfect for the Forever Friends website.
It is simple, fun and appeals to all ages. I built the main game engine, added a high score system and then styled it for the Forever Friends website and later the Hoops & Yoyo website.

Overview
In 2006 MSN asked Hallmark if they could create a viral game to help generate interest around the World Cup. The deadline was tight. It was the middle of May and the world cup finals were due to start in June, but I knew I could probably build on an experimental 'kick up' style game engine I had already built.
