Overview
When I first joined Crown Greetings (a Hallmark company) I was asked to look into adding value to Hallmark's eCard offering through games and interactive design. By a happy coincidence Macromedia had just released Flash 5 which intoduced keyboard interaction and a much stronger version of Actionscript.
I worked on these for 2 or 3 months and alongside traditionally animated cards I came up with various interactive solutions including jigsaws, digital colouring books, random outcome games, arcade games and simple button based RPGs. Below is a random selection of the eCards created. Some only reached the mockup stage.
