    Overview

Little Ewe has been around for a little while but has recently become popular after being given a starring role in the latest moonpig.com TV advert. This in mind, Little Ewe's creators felt it was time for him to have his own website not only as a promotional tool but as a place fans could find information and download cool Little Ewe stuff!

I was really excited to be given full control of this project as character websites are not only something I have a lot of experience with, but also something I love.

Despite my previous experience I was determined to push myself on this website, especially as far as the design of the site was concerned. I made a decision very early on to use PNG's which would help give the pages a style sympathetic to the card designs and the illustrative nature of the brand.

Although the site involves complex parts e.g registration, wordpress integration and Flash video, the main challenge was the e-postcard section which, although I knew worked in principal was not something I have built before. Simply put, it involves creating dynamic images based on data sent from Flash that can subsequently be placed into the email the recipient receives. Simples!

I could spend lots more time waffling on here, but it's probably easier for you to go check it out. Feel free to send me your thoughts.
